With numerous flat walks around lakes, amongst native bush, parks and along our rivers you are spoilt for choice when it comes to walking in Waimakariri. One of our top picks is Northbrook Waters (Cotter Lane, Rangiora) which was once the site of early European Industry - it is now a reserve for wildlife and recreation.
