The start and finish of all races is at the Loburn Domian. Teams complete one long gentle V shaped loop firstly running northwest before running southeast toward Ashley then northeast followed by southeast and finally northwest again to the finish.

Loburn Grades & Medals

Teams entering the Loburn 6-person relay can be made up of people of different ages and genders. To help you work out the grade your team should enter here is a guide that outlines the available grades and medals your team could aim for. All teams entered in the event are eligible for medals in their respective grades. Medals for First, Second and Third placings will be awarded in the following grades:

  • Junior Men and Junior Women

    • All runners must be at least 15 years of age as of 31st December 2024

    • All runners must be under 20 years of age as of 31st December 2024

    • Junior Men (may contain female runners)

    • Junior Women (must be all female runners)

  • Adult Grades: 

    Senior Men A & B, Senior Women A & B, Senior Combined Team A & B, Masters Men 35+, Masters Women 35+, Masters Combined 35+, Masters Men 50+, Masters Women 50+, Masters Combined 50+, Open 60+ 

    • All runners must be at least 15 years of age as of 31st December 2024

    • For Senior Grades runners can be of any age – don’t worry about entering the “A” or “B” grades. We decide what grade your team will be in based on your time estimates.

    • Men’s teams can contain any number of females as well as males

    • Women’s teams must be all female

    • Combined teams must have a minimum of 3 females

    • To enter a 35+ team, all members of your team must be 35 years or older on the 7th of September 2024

    • To enter a 50+ team, all members of your team must be 50 years or older on the 7th of September 2024

    The Open 60+ grade must have all members of your team 60 or older on the 7th of November. For this grade teams can have any number of men or women involved.

    1. If any member of your team is under 35 on the 7th of September then you must enter your team in either the senior men, senior women or combined grade. 

    2. As you will be asked for dates of birth when you enter, we suggest you collect these before you start entering team member details.

    3. You can change team members up to the day of the race so don’t panic if things change. we can accommodate this.
